Alcohol & Drug Treatment for Tricare

Greetings! I'm wanted to inform everyone that Life Center of Galax, a drug and alcohol treatment hospital located in southwestern Virginia, has recently become a Tri-Care provider. We serve clients from the entire East Coast area. Life Center offers inpatient treatment, including medical detoxification. We treat patients dealing with alcoholism and prescription drug abuse. Life Center also has a specific program for chronic pain patients who have become addicted to their medications.

CDP Training schedule for August and September

The Center for Deployment Psychology is holding a seminar titled "Addressing the Psychological Health of Warriors and Their Families" during the months of August and September. The training will be held in Lawrence, KS, on August 2; Olympia, WA, on August 23; and Atsugi, Japan, on Sept. 13. Saint Louis University Advanced Neurosurgical Innovation Center (SANIC) is currently conducting research to determine whether the brains of persons with and without concussion and traumatic brain injury differ in a meaningful way when viewed with state-of-the-art brain imaging.
